TEXT — Mark 7:34-37
Message
During a crusade organised by the Deeper Life Bible Church in 1985 at the National Stadium in Lagos, a boy without bones in one of his legs was brought to the programme by his mother and was miraculously healed through prayer in the name of Jesus. It was a creative miracle, which brought joy to the mother and all the people that heard about it.
Today’s passage harps on Christ’s supernatural power over all sicknesses, diseases and evil spirits. It also shows His unwavering concern for the oppressed, old or young. Christ’s method of healing the boy shows that He could adopt any means in carrying out His mission. In this case, He looked up to heaven and sighed and said, “Ephphatha, that is, Be opened”. In verse 36, Jesus charged them to tell no one about the miracle that followed His brief but authoritative prayer. However, they blazed the news about the wonder out of excitement.
It is instructive to observe that Christ looked up to heaven before ministering to the boy. We should always rely on God for grace and power which can only come from above. Believers must learn to hear from the Lord on the appropriate approach for solutions when faced with life challenges. Also, no self- exaltation is expected of all faithful followers of Jesus and there should be no merchandising of God’s gift. Jesus taught, “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give” (Matthew 10:8).
God still performs miracles today when believers pray. Do you have any sickness that has defied medical solution? Are you facing hardship, joblessness or any other crisis? Take it to the Lord in prayer. He still does all things well.

My main problèm is have a better Job I’m doing now to take care of my children possible Work as expatriation of course I beleive that nothing shall be impossible to whom have trust in Almighty God.
I pray that JESUS followers, pastors, apostles, prophets etc will follow HIS miracle working patterns (unfaked and unadulterated) in JESUS name.
Anywhere JESUS went then, it’s healing galore.
Anywhere majority of HIS followers go now, it’s a display of ego and affluence.
I pray GOD will continue to uphold our own pastor W.F Kumuyi, and the rest of us in JESUS name.
