Key Verse
“My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:2
Text — Psalm 121:1-8
Message
It was a difficult time for the family of Mr. Alex financially. So, he asked his friend Mr. Francis, for some money. Mr. Francis was willing to help and promised to give him some money the next day. Unknown to Mr. Francis, he had to travel to represent his boss in another city the next day and was not available when Mr. Alex came for the money. The help from people is not reliable. It fails when you least expect.
True help comes from God. He forgives and cleanses from all sins. He helps to overcome suggestions to do evil. He heals and gives perfect health. He gives wisdom and assists us in our studies. He helps when things are difficult and keeps us from evil. He gives strength to the weak, supplies our needs and much more. To receive help from God, you need to ask Him and be specific about your need. He demands that you should ask, although He knows your needs. If you are still stealing, telling lies, fighting or engaging in any form of disobedience, repent of all your sins, ask God to forgive you and help you to obey Him every day.
