Text — Job 1:12-20
Message
Tough times don’t last forever, there will surely be an end. Tough Times come to both young and old and are part of human existence. The Psalmist exclaimed that man has only few days to live and yet those few days are full of trouble. Joseph went through tough times before his dream came true. Also, a lot of Bible characters like Ruth, Esther, Deborah, Paul and the disciples to mention just few, all had their own tough times. They got solutions to all their problems. They recognized that the God of heaven has times and seasons in His hands.
God has not changed, so if your tough time is staying longer than expected, stay longer on your knees like Hannah, trust in the Lord like Job, forgive your offenders like Joseph. Cleave to the true God alone like Ruth, send out prayer request like Esther, be brave like Deborah and never quit like Paul the Apostle because quitters will never win and winners don’t quit. What are the tough times you are going through today: failure, bed-wetting, poverty, loss of a loved one or sickness? Believe the Lord, you will come out stronger.
