“Greater Than All Idols”

“Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.” Ezekiel 36:25
Text — Ezekiel 36:21-26
Message
Idols are things or people that others adore. Idols take the time, attention and praise that is due to God. God hates idols and will punish all who continue in their idolatry. Do you have so called heroes or celebrities that take all your attention and thus hinders your quiet time, weekly fellowship attendance and your studies?
Do you spend so much time with phones, toys, television, video games at the expense of your communion and commitment to the things of God? The power of God is greater than any idol. No matter how far you have gone in loving things that have no value, you can be totally free today. It is time to return to God and give Him the first place in your life. God is waiting for you with open arms.
“Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.” (1 John 5:21)
