Diligence as a virtue describes thoroughness, completeness, and persistence of an action, particularly in matters of faith. It’s about staying focused on our goals and not giving up even when it seems difficult. Successful men and women are highly celebrated today because of their diligence in what they decided to do. Your talent, intelligence and hard work will make you to stand before Kings and not before mean men.
Diligent students are those students who have set their eyes on their goals, and they are not looking for shortcuts or willing to give up mid-way. There is no room for idleness and complacency. Mediocrity is never an option. There is a clarion call for every youth of this generation to be diligent because laziness is a killer of destiny. Our attitude when doing our assignments, house chores, or running errands should be that of a diligent youth. Whether you are a student in secondary school or an apprentice, diligence surely brings great rewards. It promotes, turns dreams into reality, and impossibilities to possibilities. Your promotion hinges on your diligence.
