“As It Was In The Days of Noah”

Text — Luke 17:26-32
Message
We are in the last days w i th all the things happening around. The days that Jesus talked about in our Bible passage are already here. The days before the coming
of our Lord and Master Jesus are referred to as the last days. The things that were predicted in the Bible to happen on the last days or end times are already happening. The phrase “As it was” means “The same way” or “In like manner.” The world we are living in now is not in any way different from that of the old world. Before the time of the flood, the people ignored the warnings Noah gave them, while building the ark. They carelessly continued in their ordinary occupations, pursuing their pleasures and they did not know that the impending judgment of God was at hand.
As it was in the time of Noah, the world today remains unconcerned about the soon coming of Christ. Many people behave as if life has no end; they continue to enjoy the things of this world and fail to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ. The danger is that some believers are getting distracted by the activities, ceremonies and festivities in the world. As Christians, we must be watchful and prayerful so that the Rapture will not meet us unawares. Don’t be carried away by the happenings in the world.
