“Abraham’s Kind Of Faith”
Friday, June 27, 2025Key Verse
“By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went” (Hebrews 10:35).
Text —Hebrews 10:8-12
Message
“Abraham obeyed God to the extreme, and as a result, he became the model of faith. Thus, anyone who has faith in God and is thereby justified is a child in the spiritual line of Abraham. If we trust God as Abraham did, we can be confident in any test or trial,” says John F. MacArthur Jr. Abraham’s special faith earned him the name “the father of the faithful.” Although a stranger and a pilgrim in the land of Canaan, he obeyed God to go to a place he knew not. He had an extraordinary, unwavering belief in God’s power and promises and became the father of many nations. At nearly a hundred years old, his wife Sarah still gave birth despite her dead womb because of his faith.
As a Christian, never be weak but be strong in your faith. Be a foreigner to the ways of the world and develop that deep conviction that God will perform all that He has promised. Abraham simply believed that God would do what He said. You can do same, knowing that nothing is impossible with God.
